I wish there were no machines and everyone led a pastoral existence, trees and flowers don’t deliberately cool you out and go ‘beep’ in your ear. 

I remember my dad had The Young Ones on VHS back in the day and me and my brothers used to watch it all the time but I wasn’t supposed to cause I was only little and it was RUDE. So I watched it sneakily and got away with it for ages until I blew my cover by asking my mum what a fascist was.

But now I’m a grown up and can watch whatever I want, you can’t tell me what to do mum, you fascist!

I should really be drying/straightening my hair right now so I can go to bed at a reasonable time for college tomorrow but FUCK THAT I am watching “The Young Ones” till I damn well please.
